History
Taliesin is a small, friendly home in the heart of Tonypandy, close to shops, the railway station and buses.

Started in 1990, initially with 12 service users, it now houses 18.

Daisy Lowe, Following a wealth of experience in local hospitals, bought the “Old Dole” and converted it to a home for the elderly, offering excellent care.

Rooms are personalised to a high degree.
All clients enjoy delicious home cooked food and special
nutritional needs are catered for.
A balcony from the lounge overlooks the River Taff, and a secure, private garden thatis accessible from the lane.
A car park is available at the rear of the building.
Lifestyle
Various activities take place at the home and out in the community.

E.g. Sing- A- Longs, Bingo, Armchair exercises, Arts and Crafts, Cooking being some within the home.
​
Trips are organised to the Cinema, Theatre, Restaurants shops and places of interest and beauty.
